Mexican Hot Chocolate Buttercream

- 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 2 cups powdered sugar, or to taste
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- In the bowl of a stand mixer add the butter, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, cinnamon, cayenne pepper & vanilla extract.
- Beat on high speed until light & fluffy, about 8-10 minutes.
